Welcome to New Zealand Impressions. We provide private, fully-guided tours of New Zealand. Each tour is custom made for YOU! No two vacations are the same. Travelling with your personal and professional driver/guide, will enable you to enjoy the very best possible New Zealand experience.
How does it work?
Once you have made contact with us, we develop YOUR New Zealand itinerary to YOUR requirements, and we then follow this through, from the time we meet you at the airport until we bid you a fond farewell, at the end of your tour. YOUR tour of New Zealand is taken care of, from start to finish. We do not use other companies to run your tour*, but we operate the full service, including itinerary development, accommodation and activity/excursion bookings, and of course guiding and driving, thus enabling you to relax in the knowledge that every aspect of your tour has been taken care of by one professional touring company.
How do we differ from other companies?
- Unlike most other companies we do not offer scheduled departures. You will not have to share a van or bus or coach with others, this is YOUR tour, just for you!
- Our tours are of exceptional value, as we are owner operators, meaning low overheads. We are not an agent, so there are no extra fees payable. You will be very surprised how affordable YOUR tour with us will be.
- Our vehicles are of exceptional quality, offering you the comfort that you would expect of a touring vehicle.
- We are owned and operated by a husband and wife team. Jo was once a nurse, but now looks after the administration and website, while John who was once a lawyer, looks after you, while you are in New Zealand, driving and guiding. We do not employ others, so there is no chance of your inquiry getting passed around the office, or lost. Jo and John have worked together creating personalized itineraries for over 10 years. We bounce ideas off each other, so that YOU get exactly what you want from your New Zealand experience.

*If you are spending just a couple of days in the North Island, we may utilize a partner company to operate this portion of your tour, purely because it is more economic to do so, saving you money. However we are available to operate your tour throughout the whole of New Zealand, if this is your preference.
